L.K. Jordan & Associates is seeking an experienced Project Manager / Mechanical P.E. to join our client's dynamic team. In this role you would oversee Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) designs and take ownership of both technical and business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and perform engineering analysis, design, and construction administration for projects of various sizes.
- Manage project timelines, assign tasks, and ensure quality and compliance with engineering standards.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal teams, ensuring seamless communication.
- Oversee all phases of project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and team coordination.
- Conduct field inspections to ensure contractor adherence to design and safety requirements.
- Prepare and interpret engineering plans, specifications, and technical reports.
- Support business development through contract acquisition, client relationship management, and cross-selling services.
- Implement quality assurance measures and continually refine project policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university with a minimum of 6 years of experience; 8-10+ years preferred.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
- Plumbing Engineering Experience preferred.
- Experience in project management, including business development and team leadership.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and advanced engineering design tools.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to mentor and lead engineering teams.
- Ability to cultivate client relationships and foster a collaborative project environment.
