POSITION SUMMARY
The Financial Planning and Analysis Manager will act as a key liaison between internal stakeholders completing financial modeling, budgeting and analysis. The Financial Planning and Analysis Manager will oversee budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting processes, and will collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment of financial goals with overall business objectives.

OBJECTIVES
- Drive all financial management, planning, systems, and controls for internal stakeholders
- Understand accounting implications of changes in process, and organizational changes
- Conduct calls with key stakeholders to understand the operational application of a change in structure
- Manage budgeting, revenue forecasting, and financial review process for assigned Cardone Ventures departments
- Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and analysis for senior management
- Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying trends and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics
- Mentor and develop junior members of the FP&A team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth
COMPETENCIES
- Demonstration of an understanding of all aspects of the corporate structure of Cardone Ventures
- Knowledge of revenue versus profitability and the implications of operational changes to the business
- Can help make decisions for the the organization based on financial models and profitability
- Understanding of month-end closing cycle and accounting change impacts to the reporting of the financial picture
- Ability to develop complex financial models, budgets, and financial reporting packages
- Ability to analyze financial data and financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flows)
- Ability to understand the department budget and roles within their team to develop individual incentive compensation plans
- Facilitate actionable reporting & dashboards to key stakeholders
- Understanding of cash to accrual concepts, the benefits of each, and the impact on moving from one to the other
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel or Google sheet functions and formulas to increase efficiency
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related area of study, or equivalent work experience
- At least 5 years’ work experience in finance and accounting, preferably in a consulting capacity
