Job Overview:
As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of commercial construction projects. You will manage all aspects of the project lifecycle, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned project manager to lead high-impact projects in North Carolina’s Offices, Education, Healthcare, and Senior Living sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full cycle of construction projects, from preconstruction to closeout.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and reports to ensure timely project delivery.
- Lead project teams, including subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel, to achieve project goals.
- Oversee quality control, ensuring all work is completed to the highest industry standards.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and consultants.
- Ensure strict compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Monitor project financials, approve expenditures, and manage project risks.
- Resolve project-related issues and challenges quickly and effectively.
- Conduct regular site visits to oversee progress and address any concerns.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field. (Preferred but not essential)
- Proven experience in the Offices, Education, Healthcare, or Senior Living sectors.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, scheduling, and budget management.
- Proficiency in project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.).
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and permitting processes.
- PMP certification is a plus but not required.
