About Us 🚀
- We're building a co-pilot for hardware designers. Our mission is to enable 9M mechanical engineers to iterate through designs 1000x faster.
- We are building our geometry + physics driven foundation model for each class of part design
- Already raised the first round of capital from Khosla Ventures.
Your Responsibilities
We envision an interactive multi-modal CAD system that improves over time as it interacts with our users. As part of our team, you will lead our efforts to architect, design, implement and test features in our frontend. You will play a critical role in our efforts to develop, deploy, and maintain production-quality code that enables users to interact with our system through a variety of methods including interactions in 3D, visualizations, text prompts, etc. Specific tasks include:
- Own, architect, and implement software systems to develop a co-pilot front end. Our backend is in python but leading decisions about implementation of the frontend and the technologies we will use are part of this role.
- Some parts of our system will be a plugin to other software Solidworks, Catia, etc this role is expected to help maintain consistent interactions across platforms even if implementation is handled by others
- Work with a cross-functional team of software, machine learning, simulation, and mechanical engineers
- Assist in the strategy, planning the product roadmap, and prioritize the development in partnership with early customers and design partners
- Build and ship critical product features
Qualifications
- Worked across a broad-range of problems including the front end space (more than just forms and tables); having worked with a frontend that required 3d visualizations is a huge plus
- Launched and iterated on successful products
- Experience in Javascript and React and other frontend technologies
- We do not have degree or time-in-role requirements; rather, we are looking for people who are able to quickly onboard with a supportive engineering team and will be highly motivated to help us execute against aggressive deadlines.
- Startup experience is a strong advantage.
You’re a great fit for this role if you:
- Are excited about entrepreneurship, taking things from 0 to 1,
- Have a continuous learning mindset.
- Are interested in building a product for a vast variety of design problemsÂ
- Thrive when you have autonomy and ownership over your work
- Transparency in the face of ambiguous or difficult situations
- “Getting stuff done” through simple, pragmatic iteration and an unwavering focus on product needs
