The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be the senior lead for execution of the financial processes and deliverables for one of our top clients. This is a direct-hire opportunity in the Palatine, IL location that will be an onsite position.
Key Job Accountabilities
- Financial Planning- Senior Leader in driving the financial planning, analyzing financial strength and weaknesses while being a catalyst for providing strategic forecasting to the executive leadership team both nationally and internationally
- Risk Management/Cash Management: Analyze, understand, and drive improvement in business profitability. Be responsible for the site forecast and the level of predictability. Review performance versus expectations, identify areas for improvement, challenge the status quo, and deliver creative solutions to financial challenges. Provide adequate cash flow procedures and systems for the company while building investment strategies that consider cash and liquidity risks while also managing the potential liabilities through effective communication
- Other Key Responsibilities: Review and ensure the accuracy of the general ledger and financial statement reporting. Have a comprehensive understanding of all activities and balances while implementing and maintaining site financial control systems to ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures, and to reduce site exposure to financial risk. Oversee Financial Reporting, Audit and Implement Financial Budgets, Supervise Financial and Compliance Teams and control and evaluate capital structure. Manage all items of M&A. Be the main SME for the In-depth knowledge of all company and procedures required for an initial public offering nationally and internationally.
- Public Offering Experience and Know-How: Determine and drive alignment for the on-site strategy, financial goals, and objectives, and support efforts to deliver these objectives and goals for initial public offering to the executive team by creating a constant culture of building, suggesting, and implementing financial measures to increase shareholder value.
Education/Experience Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree Finance, Accounting or a related field; MBA preferred
- 10+ years of progressive experience in senior finance roles within the EMS industry
- Experience with Epicor ERP Systems or ERP Systems as they related to a CFO in the EMS Industry.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, analysis and modeling
- Proven track record of driving financial performance and strategic growth
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Able to maintain confidentiality of all company and customer information with experience with international financial operations and compliance
- Demonstrate ability to lead and motivate teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA or CFA certification
- Bilingual- Hindi
