The opportunity:

This position will allow you to not only be an Engineer, but one that is valued and needed to achieve the wider organisations long term goal. Your skills will be needed to build a range of products for consumers such as web applications and products, whilst working very closely with the product team. The software that you build will have a direct impact on the consumer, and a positive impact on peoples day to day.
The Role:

Responsibility:
- Contribute to a significant part of the implementation and deployment of services within your team.
- Apply engineering practices including unit testing, integration testing, continuous integration and, by your example, lead others in your team to do likewise.
- Develop your technical understanding to support and build your career.
- Work closely with others in your team and other members across the organisation.
Skills
- Scala coding experience (MUST)
- Functional language programming experience
- Experience creating scalable and reactive web applications with modern frameworks
- Akka
- ZIO
- NoSQL
- Ability to demonstrate high-quality coding and testing practices
