- Responsible for the management of the company's computer network to include Build out, maintain, and troubleshoot the rapidly expanding infrastructure.
Job Description:
Position Purpose:
- Build out, maintain, and troubleshoot the rapidly expanding infrastructure. Ensure the highest levels of availability, performance, and security for a network of computers, including hardware, software, and system architecture.
Education/Experience:
- bachelor's degree in computer science or information Systems or related degree preferred or 5 plus years' experience in the IT field or similar combination of education and experience.
Required Knowledge/ Skills/Abilities:
- Highly experienced in managing multi-location infrastructure for IT
- Integration of globally integrated and secure systems set-up
- Experience with cyber security and monitoring systems.
- Proven track record of installing, configuring, and troubleshooting systems.
- Experience creating scripts and setting up software for automation.
- Exceptional knowledge of networking technologies.
- Familiarity with administration, performance tuning, and system monitoring.
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience with MS, SAP, Sales Force, etc. integration
Essential Functions and Basic Duties:
- Manage and monitor all installed systems (incl. SAP, Sales Force, etc.) and infrastructure.
- Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools.
- Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
- Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes.
- Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
- Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks.
- Participated in the design of information and operational support systems.
- Communicate effectively with IT support staff to ensure the setup process runs smoothly.
- Troubleshoot and resolve all technical issues when they arise.
