Our client is looking for a Sr. Director of IT. This person will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction of the organization’s IT infrastructure. There is a focus on Governance, Risk, and Compliance while ensuring IT services are reliable, secure, and aligned with business objectives.

Position Description
- Lead and manage the IT Service Operations team, Technical Operations, and Governance/Security operations team.
- Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices with a focus on financial discipline.
- Oversee the management and maintenance of IT infrastructure
- Ensure high availability, reliability, and security of IT systems and services.
- Implement and manage DR and business continuity plans.
- Manage the IT operations budget.
- Oversee the procurement of IT equipment, software, and services.
- Optimize resource allocation to meet current and future IT needs.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and policies related to IT operations.
- Implement robust security measures to protect company data and IT assets.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate risks.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers and address any issues that arise
- Negotiate contracts and SLAs to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven track record of success in a senior leadership role. There is a focus on IT strategy, planning, and governance roles in this position.
- Experience leading and managing a global team in an enterprise environment.
- Possess an understanding of technology infrastructure, systems, and applications.
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity practices and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated experience in change management, project management, and talent development.
