Senior Platform/Software Engineer (Python/AWS/Terraform), Up to $180,000, (Hybrid, NY)
Platform/Software Engineer (Python/AWS/Terraform) sought for a fast-growth and highly successful startup based in NY (hybrid is ideal but will consider more remote first candidates based in the East Coast). This is an organization who despite being earlier stages, have his profitability incredibly quickly and are an AI cloud optimization platform. We are seeking a Senior or Principal Platform/Software Engineer (Python/AWS/Terraform) – a solid software engineer but with experience of DevOps and Data technologies.
You will be a Software Engineer with a focus on Data/DevOps – helping to scale AWS based infrastructure on AWS to ensure maximum reliability and performance. This is an exciting opportunity to have a lot of autonomy and growth working on a variety of things such as cost optimization, compliance and development.
This role is offering up to $180,000 + very flexible working, equity, health insurance, generous PTO, 401K and many other benefits in return for:
- 5+ years’ as a software engineer with a focus on DevOps/Data (specifically across AWS, Terraform and Python engineering)
- Solid experience with AWS services and backend development
- Proficient understanding of data engineering concepts (SQL, pySpark etc)
- Experience using and maintaining infrastructure on Terraform
- Great communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Dynamic and enjoy working on fast paced, scaling environments
