Hoag Health, Orange County's top ranked hospital system is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist to support their Maternal health/perinatal program. Responsibilities
- The Psychiatrist will provide psychiatric evaluations for Hoag patients in an outpatient setting
- Provide expert consultations for admitted maternity patients at Hoag Hospital’s Newport Beach and Irvine campuses.
- Growing program with support from Hoag Women’s Health Institute
Requirements
- Board Certification - or Board eligible - in Psychiatry with experience in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry
- Specialty training in Perinatal & Reproductive Psychiatry
- MD or DO degree, and completion of ACGME accredited residency in Psychiatry
- Active, unrestricted California Medical License, or eligible for California State Medical Licensure
- Active DEA license
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team setting and a passion for providing excellent clinical care
