One of our large biopharmaceutical clients is seeking an Associate Scientist - Downstream Purification to join their growing R&D organization within their bioprocessing team in King of Prussia, PA for a 6-month contract. This individual will be completing sample analysis and method development specifically within monoclonal antibody purification and development. There is a specific emphasis on chromatography and must have hands on experience specifically with AKTA. Other responsibilities include:
- Purify and characterize antibodies, multispecifics, and other biomolecules
- Utilize AKTA systems to purify proteins through affinity and other FPLC chromatography methods
- Execute HPLCs and other biochemical analytical techniques for characterization
- Design, execute, and interpret experiments and collaborating with team on next steps
- Analyze and evaluate experimental results and data
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study
- Minimum of 1 years of experience with monoclonal antibody purification
- Prior AKTA experience
Pay Range: $36.00-$43.00/hr
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
Hiring Method: 6 month-long contract with potential for extension and/or permanent hire
