We seek an experienced Wealth Advisor to join a fiduciary firm with a holistic approach in Atlanta, Georgia.
This role would focus on developing and maintaining client relationships, overseeing financial planning, and contributing to the growth of the local team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wealth management, investments, financial planning, and client engagement, with the possibility of earning into an equity position within the firm.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain relationships with HNW/UHNW clients, actively pursuing solutions that address their financial needs.
- Partner with a Business Development Officer (BDO) to close new opportunities and to lead onboarding and management of new clients.
- Lead financial planning efforts, including data gathering, analysis, and plan design in collaboration with internal and external tax, estate, and trust partners.
- Present comprehensive plans with a focus on estate planning, tax mitigation, philanthropic strategies, and risk management.
- Oversee the management of investments, portfolio rebalancing, and execution of trades in accordance with client objectives.
- Manage the onboarding of new client accounts, including gathering necessary documentation and liaising with custodian partners.
- Act as a subject matter expert on client service-related processes, mentoring junior team members, and promoting best practices.
- Monitor client and prospect engagement within the relationship management system and ensure accurate tracking.
- Prepare and process complex investment paperwork with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Stay informed on current financial planning developments and tax law changes to continuously enhance service offerings.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in wealth management or a related field, with a track record of developing and managing client relationships.
- CFP® or CFA designation required.
- Experience with financial planning software (eMoney) and complex estate planning.
- Series 65 or 66 is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and client service skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts in simple terms.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proven ability to take ownership of projects and see them through to completion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Salesforce, and PowerPoint, with a strong skill set in Excel.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Experience with managing referral networks and familiarity with industry channels and programs.
