IT Sales Executive
Managed Service Provider (MSP)
We have partnered with an IT Services and Consulting company in Knoxville, TN that is looking to add to their sales team. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven IT Sales Executive to join our team at a leading Managed Service Provider (MSP). The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the IT landscape and will be responsible for driving sales growth by identifying new business opportunities and nurturing client relationships. This role requires a proactive approach, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand our market presence.
- Client Acquisition: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and market research.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver ICG presentations and proposals to prospective clients, highlighting the value and benefits of ICG offerings including MSP services.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements are reached.
- Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the technical and support teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status using CRM software.
- Performance Metrics: Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT sales, preferably within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of IT services, including cloud solutions, network security, and managed IT support.
- Sales Acumen: Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical clients.
- Relationship Building: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify client needs and propose effective solutions.
- Self-Motivation: Highly motivated and goal-oriented individual who can work independently and as part of a team.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
- CRM Proficiency: Proficiency in using CRM software to manage sales activities and client information.
