Position Overview:
The HSE Manager will oversee a range of Health, Safety, Environmental, and security initiatives at the MD facility. This role involves offering technical HSE guidance to the team and departments, as well as formulating strategies for ongoing HSE performance enhancement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the main HSE representative for the site and lead a team of 3-4 HSE professionals.
- Participate in the site’s leadership group, providing HSE technical assistance, advice, and ensuring compliance with HSE regulations.
- Implement HSE initiatives, promote best practices, and maintain a visible presence on the shop floor to foster safety awareness and adherence.
- Perform internal audits of HSE programs to assess compliance and identify necessary program adjustments.
- Ensure adherence to governmental regulations (such as OSHA and EPA) as well as corporate HSE standards.
- Build collaborative relationships with other HSE teams within the company
- Oversee and lead the site’s Process Safety Management (PSM) program.
