What you'll do:
- Design control systems using AutoCAD, including power distribution, PLC configurations, panels, pneumatics, hydraulics, and instrumentation.
- Develop tailored software solutions for projects.
- Manage budgets and schedules in collaboration with Project Manager.
- Provide solutions during project construction.
- Mentor junior Controls Engineers.
- Create project schedules.
- Debug software and ensure production readiness.
- Assist in project installation.
What you'll need:
- PLC expertise, including Allen Bradley models (CompactLogix, ControlLogix, SLC 500, etc.), Siemens 416.
- HMI proficiency, such as; Allen Bradley Panelview, Panelview Plus, Siemens TP, and OP Series.
- Knowledge of communication protocols (Ethernet I/P, ControlNet, Profibus, etc.).
- Familiarity with Variable Frequency Drives
- Robotics skills & understanding of Linear Actuators
