Molding Section Manager
Technimark is a rapidly growing global manufacturer of custom rigid plastics solutions. Working in conjunction with some of the world’s most respected companies we create, design, and deliver products across multiple industry sectors including healthcare, packaging, industrial and consumer products, and we’re looking to hire a Molding Section Manager to join our team located at our corporate headquarters in Asheboro, NC.
As the Molding Section Manager, you’ll be responsible for:
- Overseeing all molding operations including set-up, start-up, and troubleshooting.
- Managing automation, processes, and maintenance teams to keep production running smoothly.
- Ensuring quality standards are consistently met and customer requirements are exceeded.
- Playing a key role in continuous improvement activities—reducing scrap, optimizing machine capacity, and maintaining ISO, QS, and other critical certifications.
- Leading mold/material sampling for new products and overseeing mold changes.
Desired Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in processing and troubleshooting injection molding.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, including quality standards, mold changes, and production optimization.
- Problem-solving skills to handle machine issues and improve production efficiency.
- Communication & leadership skills to manage teams and maintain high performance.
- Basic computer skills (Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook) to track and report on operations.
- Knowledge of ISO, QS, UL, NSF policies and experience ensuring compliance.
- Team leadership and task management
