Account ExecutivePosition Overview:
This is a full-time on-site role as an Account Executive / Go-To-Market (GTM) Specialist at ShiftRx. This is an opportunity to join as one of the first 15 hires of an early-stage healthcare marketplace leveraging SaaS, AI workforce optimization solutions. You'll work on the initial mid market sales pipeline, help drive company growth through new accounts, and prospect and close exciting new partnerships. As an early member of the sales team, you will play a critical role in shaping the direction and success of ShiftRx initially reporting to the Head of GTM Sales. This position offers the unique opportunity to build the sales playbook and strategies from the ground up, ensuring our service delivery is seamless, scalable, and effectively meets the needs of our customers. We are seeking a driven and dynamic Account Executive to join our fast-paced, B2B2C startup. This is not your typical 9-5 role; it's an opportunity to dive into a rapidly growing company, based out of Austin (ATX), Texas.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with healthcare facilities and hospitals
- Manage and grow relationships with existing clients. Persistence and never giving up positive attitude
- Understand and communicate the value proposition of AI and healthcare technology solutions
- Work closely with the team to develop and execute sales strategies
- Provide feedback and insights from clients to improve our products and services
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Analyze data and generate reports
Qualifications
- Problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Minimum of 2 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in a fast-paced, startup environment.
- Experience in selling to pharmacy locations targets within grocery, retail, hospital and healthcare systems is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets + proficient in modern CRM / sales stack software.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Early-stage (Seed, Series A, Series B) startup experience is required
- Must live in the Austin area
Additional qualifications and skills that would be beneficial for the role include a background in healthcare tech, understanding of clinical workflows, and/ or experience with AI and language models.

Compensation:
- Competitive salary based on experience to start in the range of $60,000-$70,000 base salary with a $120k OTE target.
