Are you a skilled engineering professional with a knack for overseeing complex projects in a heavy manufacturing (Metals) setting? We are looking for a committed Maintenance and Reliability Engineering Manager to spearhead our engineering initiatives and foster operational excellence at our Tennessee facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate multiple engineering projects simultaneously, ensuring they meet their objectives and stay within budget.
- Monitor and assess project expenses to ensure compliance with budgets, taking corrective actions as needed.
- Support engineering and maintenance activities to improve plant performance in terms of safety, quality, and cost efficiency.
- Create engineered solutions to address safety and environmental challenges within the plant.
- Collaborate on the implementation of our 5-year strategy, focusing on growth and sustaining projects while coordinating with corporate resources.
- Mentor and support engineers, plant staff, and maintenance teams through training and technical guidance.
- Manage administrative tasks, including proposal approvals, expenditure tracking, and performance evaluations.
- Utilize engineering principles to enhance production processes and continuously improve technology.
- Oversee capital projects from inception to startup, ensuring they are cost-effective and comply with safety regulations.
- Develop and coordinate maintenance strategies, training programs, and preventive measures to meet plant requirements.
- Analyze and resolve manufacturing issues to optimize product performance and reduce costs.
- Ensure all operations comply with audit standards (ISO and IATF).

Qualifications:
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- 10+ years of experience in the heavy manufacturing sector (preferably in metals)
- 5-9 years of experience in project management
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (visa sponsorship is not available)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 10-12 years of expertise in specialized areas such as casting, hot rolling, cold rolling, mill finishing, or facilities
- Established project management experience (10-12 years)
- 8+ years of supervisory experience
