Weekly Pay Range - $2163 To $2403 Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12-Hour Variable Shifts (Night: 19:00 - 07:00; Day: 07:00 - 19:00) Guaranteed Hours: Experience: Minimum 2 years of Level 3 or higher NICU experience License: California License Certifications: BLS, Advanced NRP, Vent Management Must-Have: - Travel experience - Epic system proficiency - Willingness to float to NICU satellite campuses - Own transportation - Work 2 out of 3 major holidays - Flu shot required during season Job Description: - Provide specialized care for neonates with gestational age of 28 weeks and above. - Stabilize and manage high acuity cases before transfer for those less than 26 weeks. - Manage UVC/UAC lines and phototherapy. - Navigate and work in two EMR systems, Epic and Cerner. - Travel and float to various NICU locations with reimbursement for mileage. - Complete non-billable pre-start modules (approximately 6-8 hours). - Participate in a 12-hour orientation. Additional Requirements: - Candidates are expected to float within hospital settings and NICU satellite locations. - Perm staff must wait one year to be eligible for travel roles. - Modules to be completed before start, not counted as orientation hours.
