Role & Responsibilities:
We are seeking an Instrumentation and Controls Technician for a well-established manufacturing company in Carson City, NV. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in installation and commissioning of instrumentation
and systems automation as well as preventative and emergency maintenance looking
to further their career within a reputable and innovative organization!
- Responsible for specification, installation, configuration, calibration, and maintenance of process control system elements.
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment and systems at the facility, utilizing technical, interpersonal and critical thinking skills.
- Perform set up and programing in Inductive Automations Ignition SCADA platform.
- Calibrate and repair instruments and associated equipment.
- Set up and installation of network components.
- Record and report data and explain test data for engineering personnel to formulate engineering.
- Develop programs around PLCs and develop/modify programs for HMIs.
Essential Qualifications:
- SCADA systems experience required
- HMI and PLC programming
- Knowledge of IIOT principles
- HS Diploma or GED
- 3+ years’ experience in instrumentation and controls
Bonus Qualifications:
- Technical degree in electrical/electronics or instrumentation
- OSHA certification
