Our AmLaw firm client seeks an Of Counsel attorney to join their Energy Practice Group. Their energy attorneys represent some of the nation's largest energy companies, and provide them with leading-edge energy counseling, transaction and litigation expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Expertise in Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) energy regulatory proceedings
- Support varied energy transactions (oil, gas, power - both renewable and traditional), including PPAs, TSAs, open seasons, M&A and regulatory diligence
- Strong contract drafting and review skills
- International experience working on infrastructure projects
- Preparing complex settlement agreements
Qualifications:
- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school is required.
- Admission to the District of Columbia Bar, active and in good standing, is also required.
Salary range: The anticipated salary range is $375,000 to $415,000. The actual base salary offered will be dependent upon the applicant’s experience and qualifications, as well as other job-related factors, including but not limited to, relevant skills, education, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, geographic location.
