AKKODIS is seeking a Network Administrator for a full-time job with a client located in Huntsville, AL. Ideally looking for applicants who have proven experience in Data Centers experience desirable.
Salary Range: $130k to $140k/Annually +Benefits.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN and WAN system hardware (switches, routers, firewalls, etc.) using primarily Cisco hardware.
- Design, maintain, and document network solutions.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols.
- Secure networks by developing network access controls and policies that align with DISA STIGs.
- Ensure system security in compliance with Army and customer policies.
- Understand network security devices and their output.
- Ensure reliable backup and recovery from circuit and hardware outages.
Experience
- BS degree in related discipline preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years related experience.
- Certifications: CCNA
- Must have Security+, comparable certificate, or ability to achieve 8570/8140 compliance within 60 days of hiring.
- Cisco IOS installation, maintenance, and STIG management as required for switching, routing, and firewall environments at advance configuration and troubleshooting skill levels.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Cisco DNA Center experience desirable.
