CNC Programmer - Fusion 360
Hours: 6:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. or 5:30 a.m. -3:30 p.m. and ½ day on Saturday’s 5:30 a.m. -10:30 a.m. The hours in the Tool Room are 55 hours a week and it doesn’t change. So you have to be able to work the schedule and want to work overtime.
PAY RATE: $28.00-$30.00 Per Hour Depending on Experience. Overtime at time and one half.
Requirement of the CNC Programmer
Responsibilities and Job Duties:
- Create 2D or 3D cutter paths for cutting aluminum prototype plastic injection molds
- Will program CNC mills using CAD/CAM software
- Must have knowledge of CAM software and Autodesk Fusion 360
- Majority of the time would be at the desk programing
- Will line up CNC setup personnel with process sheets
- Utilization of the integrated FCS system
- Create layout prints for key dimensional areas
- Will setup & operate CNC mills when needed
Qualifications and Experience
- Ideal candidate would have 10-15 years of experience of as a CNC Programmer (creating cutter paths & 3-D Solids)
- Must have previous experience using Autodesk Fusion 360 (at least three years using this program)
- Exp. cutting molds or dies
- Experience with injection molding is a plus
