We’re seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to drive electrical reliability and maintenance within our facility, focusing on enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring a safe, clean work environment. This role demands a proactive approach to managing projects, maintaining systems, and collaborating with various teams to achieve performance goals. Strategic thinking and leadership are crucial as you oversee maintenance activities, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
· Safety Management: Uphold rigorous safety standards in all internal and external work to ensure an incident-free environment. Assess and mitigate potential hazards in project installations and operational procedures.
· Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to relevant federal, state, and local regulations. Oversee certification and approvals for professional and contractor work.
· Project and Maintenance Leadership: Manage projects and reliability maintenance, focusing on safety, compliance, quality, and cost. Lead initiatives to meet key performance indicators and financial targets.
· Team and Budget Management: Guide and develop maintenance teams, contribute to budgeting, and monitor expenditures. Collaborate with Purchasing to optimize repair costs and manage projects to achieve financial objectives.
· Continuous Improvement: Foster environmental stewardship, enhance machinery knowledge, and contribute to team development through technical training and succession planning.
Qualifications:
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
· Experience: 3-5 years in maintenance leadership and engineering roles, demonstrating electrical engineering expertise and leadership skills.
· Skills: Proficient in electrical power and control reliability, capable of managing multiple priorities, and skilled in leading teams effectively. Lean Six Sigma experience is a plus.
· Attributes: Strong sense of urgency, ownership, and a drive for continuous learning and improvement. Ability to handle challenging deadlines and collaborate with various stakeholders.
