Our client is a prominent real estate finance company based in Dallas, Texas, specializing in providing innovative financing solutions for real estate investors in the commercial sector. As they continue to expand, our client is seeking a talented and experienced real estate finance attorney to join their legal team and provide expert advice on corporate, commercial, and transactional matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise on corporate, commercial, and transactional legal matters to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including loan agreements, purchase agreements, and other commercial documents.
- Provide legal support for real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and financings.
- Conduct due diligence for real estate and finance transactions, identifying and mitigating potential legal risks.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including finance, operations, and business development, to provide legal guidance on various business initiatives.
- Manage and coordinate with outside counsel on complex legal matters as needed.
- Stay abreast of legal and regulatory developments in the real estate and finance industries, ensuring the company remains compliant with all relevant laws.
- Prepare and present regular reports on legal matters to senior management.
- Assist with the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures to ensure best practices in legal compliance and risk management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience working on commercial real estate financing.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active bar license in Texas.
- Strong knowledge of corporate, commercial, and transactional law, particularly in the real estate and finance sectors.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record of managing complex legal matters and providing strategic guidance to business teams.
