We have an immediate opportunity for a POS QA Analyst on a contract basis.
***This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week onsite in Bethesda, MD***
Responsibilities:
- Assist in setting up and establishing QA discipline
- Select tools and processes to be followed
- Set up the test environment and configure POS (Simphony)
- Manual and automated testing
- Help automate processes where applicable
- Understand Simphony modules, work with the POS and related configuration
- Develop accessibility platforms on Simphony
Required Skills:
- Automation testing - APIs, Web applications, Windows applications
- Selenium or similar frameworks
- Performance testing and Load testing - JMeter or similar tools
- Regression testing, smoke testing
- Document test environments, test scenarios and test cases
- Execute test cases, generate test reports, report bugs, coordinate with developers tp analyze all bugs and/or issues
- Perform analysis as needed
- Setup lab: kiosks - printer, payment device, scanner, and other peripherals
- Familiarity with Postman script
- Simphony Second Edition (Oracle Point of Sale) experience OR similar POS
- Experience in retail industry (Point of Sale, kiosks, self-checkouts, mobile ordering apps, payments)
- Scripting experience (Python, etc)
Desired Skills:
- Azure cloud experience - APP Services, APIM, App gateway, function apps, app insights
- Azure DevOps experience - Azure Git, managing CICD pipelines
- Docker containers, Kubernetes
