The Continuous Improvement Manager will lead initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, reducing waste, and improving overall operational performance within our food manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities of the Continuous Improvement Manager:
- Lead Improvement Initiatives: Identify, prioritize, and implement continuous improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Data Analysis: Analyze production data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement, utilizing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with production, quality assurance, supply chain, and other departments to develop and implement best practices.
- Training and Development: Design and deliver training programs for employees on continuous improvement tools and methodologies, fostering a culture of empowerment and accountability.
- Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of continuous improvement initiatives.
- Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analyses for process failures and quality issues, recommending solutions to prevent recurrence.
Qualifications of the Continuous Improvement Manager:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in continuous improvement or operational excellence, preferably in food manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with Excel and Microsoft office
