We are currently assisting our client, an industrial manufacturer, with a Sr. Buyer search located in the Bedford Heights, Ohio area. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the purchasing team and will play a key role in the departments success.
Responsibilities:
- Will be responsible for creating, reviewing and releasing purchase orders
- Will be responsible for contract negotiations
- Will be responsible for developing relationships with machine shops and fabricators
- Will work with manufacturing to ensure that the company has sufficient product to meet manufacturing goals and customer demand
Requirements:
- Experience with sourcing machined parts, fabricated parts, cast parts, and/or forgings
- Experience with an MRP/ERP system
- Experience with contract negotiations
