Job Summary
The Facilitator for TAG University is part of the Learning & Development team and is responsible for facilitating learning experiences in classroom and virtual formats, building individuals' leadership and job-specific competencies, and improving individuals' performance and contribution to business results.
Our Learning & Development team inspires and enables people to learn new skills and behaviors, adopt new approaches and grow professionally and personally. The Facilitator is a key contributor to delivering world class learning experiences. This role will bring to life our values and is a role model of our cultural pillars each day through everything they do.
The Facilitator is required to stay current on business initiatives and resources to connect learning to current and trending business strategies and focuses. This individual may participate in needs analysis (discovery) of learning needs and evaluating learning solutions. In addition, this position supports the execution of our L&D strategy as well as our current priorities and projects as needed.
This person is a self-starter and can execute under minimal supervision. They must be a strong communicator and facilitator; able to seek new ways of doing things, open to new ways of thinking, and demonstrate agility in unfamiliar situations. This role will report to the Senior Manager, Learning Delivery. This role is based in our world-class learning facility in Chicago, IL. Some travel may be required.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Facilitates learning experiences for all levels in classroom and virtual formats, including Classroom Studio
- Certified in multiple learning programs across topics and audiences
- Communicates clearly and expressively and is easily understood, makes concise points, and displays appropriate level of energy
- Collaborates effectively with co-facilitators, experience team, stakeholders and vendors; both in-person and leveraging technology when virtual
- Manages session environment and participants to ensure learning objectives are met and an inspiring learning experience is delivered, including utilizing various producing technologies
- Handles challenging discussions and redirects to course content if needed
- Brings the learning to life by helping the learner connect the concepts/skills to their roles
- Demonstrates proficiency with virtual facilitation; using unique features of classroom technology to sustain learner engagement, manage audience participation, and troubleshoot learner tech needs in the session
- Assists with needs analysis, design, and development of learning solutions; supports with recommendation of learning or performance solution as needed
- Supports evaluation and measurement of programs and implements improvements as needed
- Supports team toward achieving department goals and priorities
- Serves as a TAG University ambassador for owners, doctors and all team members
- Consults and liaises with other members of the L&D organization
- Represents and maintains awareness of the brands across the organization
- Manages daily activities in ClickUp
- Additional duties as assigned
Requirements/Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in virtual and in-person facilitation roles in corporate L&D, education, or professional settings
- Working knowledge of adult learning theory and principles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong listening ability to comprehend and draw connections for learning
- Strong time management skills; ability to multi-task, flex, think on your feet and perform effectively under time constraints
- Strong composure and ability to stay present under stress, comfortable with ambiguity
- Team player, highly motivated self-starter even under stressful conditions
- Ability to work with multiple internal and external customers and subject matter experts
- Advocate for personal development that maintains field relevance and future interests and applications

Salary Starting $70,000
