Join our client's team as a 3D Environment Artist III, where you will utilize your expertise in concepting, modeling, and texturing to create visually compelling environments that tell captivating stories. You will work within design and technical constraints to build optimized environments that enhance the purpose and mood of the game. As a senior member of the team, you will be expected to take ownership of an area of the map.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Building 3D assets ranging from hard surface structures to organic foliage
- Utilizing modeling, sculpting, and texturing programs such as Maya, Zbrush, Substance Painter, and Photoshop
- Interpreting and enhancing concept designs while considering technical and design constraints
- Collaborating with various disciplines to ensure all assets meet gameplay requirements, support partner disciplines, and are performant
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 5+ years of professional experience working in environment art
- 5+ years of professional experience working in Maya
- Experience working with various game engines from licensed to proprietary (Unity, Unreal, etc.)
- Strong examples of First Person environment gameplay spaces in shipped AAA titles
