Job Title: Automation Technician
Location: North Carolina
Salary: $72k
A company specializing in the development, production, and distribution of high-quality plastic laboratory products, is hiring an Automation Technician to join the team.
In this role, you will troubleshoot and analyze failures or errors in automation equipment and identify the root cause. On top of this, you will maintain and repair automation systems based on root cause analysis.
Other Responsibilities:
- Replace or rebuild defective or broken manufacturing/automation parts efficiently.
- Perform and document preventive maintenance of automation systems according to established procedures.
- Carry out and document all repairs and adjustments on automation systems.
- Requisition necessary spare parts as needed.
- Complete all maintenance reports, documentation, and checklists by procedures.
- Support the installation of new equipment.
- Provide support and backup for facility maintenance.
- Train operators on the standard operation of automation systems.
- Maintain a clean and orderly appearance of automation systems, the workshop, and the production floor.
Job Requirements:
- High school education or equivalent.
- Technical education in mechanical or electrical fields, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, or equivalent.
