Key Responsibilities:
Account Management:
- Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients, including sponsors, CROs, and research institutions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring satisfaction, contract renewals, and upselling opportunities.
- Identify client needs and provide solutions to meet their clinical research staffing requirements.
Business Development:
- Drive the growth of sponsor partnerships by identifying new business opportunities within the clinical research space.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and potential sponsors for clinical trials.
- Develop and execute strategies to attract new sponsors, CROs, and biotech/pharmaceutical companies.
- Present company services and solutions to potential clients, securing new clinical trial contracts.
Clinical Trial Growth:
- Work closely with sponsors and internal teams to ensure the seamless onboarding of clinical trials.
- Collaborate with clinical operations, finance, and legal teams to negotiate contracts and facilitate trial start-up activities.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase the volume of clinical trials managed by the company.
Sales & Revenue Generation:
- Meet or exceed sales targets by closing new contracts and expanding relationships with existing clients.
- Develop and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and pitches tailored to client needs.
- Create pricing strategies and negotiate terms with sponsors to ensure competitive and profitable service offerings.
Networking & Industry Presence:
- Represent the company at industry conferences, webinars, and networking events.
- Build a strong network within the clinical research industry to foster new partnerships.
- Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and innovations in clinical research to position the company as a market leader.
3-5 Must Have Skills/Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree
- 2 Years of CR or Healthcare Sales BD Experience
- Must be in Birmingham and willing to travel to three sites
