Automation & Controls Engineer

$110-125k base salary
I'm currently working with a Connecticut-based Pharmaceutical Manufacturing company who are looking for a Senior Automation & Controls Engineer to join them on a permanent basis and your profile looks like a great fit for the role.
This position will be responsible for the creation, development and implementation of process control systems for pharma mfg process and the plant-floor as well as ensuring they’re aligned with FDA regulations. Additionally, you can expect to troubleshoot instrumentation, support control systems, manage equipment vendors, develop test strategies and prepare technical reports. This will be a senior role within the team, providing support/mentoring for more junior members and acting as an SME across the rest of the organization.
Key experience:
- 5+ years experience operating in a similar position within the Controls & Automation space
- Background working in the Pharmaceuticals industry (or similar) is prefferred
- Proven knowledge of SCADA, HMIs, PLCs, Robotics and Vision system
- Understanding of ControlLogix, Panelview, RSview, FactoryTalk
- Experience with Wonderware is a nice-to-have
This role will be working onsite in Danbury, CT on a full-time basis.
