Our client is looking for a contract Senior Buyer/Buyer to join their procurement department.
Contract - estimated 3+ months
40 hours per week
Onsite daily – Office in Placentia
$35-45/hour depending on experience
Requirements for the role:
- BA or BS in Materials Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Operations Planning or a related field required.
- Minimum seven (7) years related experience, experience in procurement including purchasing, inventory control, contract negotiation, supply management, supplier relationships, basics of Cost Accounting, and tracking budget expenses in a manufacturing environment - required.
- Deep understanding of MPR process and procurement practices
- Intermediate SAP experience
- Intermediate / Advanced Excel experience, with analytical abilities
- Strong communication skills (listening, speaking, writing, presentation, inter-personal)
