PURPOSE
The Manager of LTL CSP is responsible for developing customer specific pricing processes, fostering relationships with carriers, and providing managerial support to the CSP Pricing team. The Manager of LTL CSP use experience in the LTL industry and knowledge of CSP processes to increase customer retention. This position is a complex function designed to be an integral part of the corporate support structure for Sales, Operations and Finance.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage team of analysts responsible for facilitating the RFP process with internal teams and LTL carrier partners
- Analyze multiple KPIs to determine other strategies to implement that will lead to higher retention and efficiencies
- Responsible for technology tools for pricing team and internal customers
- Execute preliminary and final customer analysis and maintain on time performance for sales and carriers
- Review carrier proposals and prepare rate tariffs for implementation
- Support internal customers through RFP analysis and review
- Work closely with tenured sales team to determine customer feasibility and appropriate pricing
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills with a high competence in Microsoft Excel and Tableau
- Proactive demeanor and strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable within a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- Familiar with standard analytics concepts, practices, and procedures within shipping business
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
- 5+ years of experience as an analyst or similar role
- 2+ years of leadership experience
- 2+ years of experience in LTL industry
