Position Overview: As a Workday HRIS Manager, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), with a strong focus on Workday. You will work closely with HR, IT, and other cross-functional teams to ensure the effective implementation, integration, and ongoing administration of Workday. This role will also be key in providing analytical insights, reporting, and driving system enhancements to improve HR operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations and administration of Workday HRIS, ensuring data integrity and system functionality.
- Lead the configuration, customization, and maintenance of Workday modules such as HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Time Tracking, Recruiting, and others as needed.
- Serve as the Workday subject matter expert (SME), providing training and support to HR and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, IT, and other departments to identify business needs and recommend solutions within Workday to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Oversee system upgrades, patches, testing, and troubleshooting to maintain optimal performance and compliance.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive reports, dashboards, and analytics to support business decisions and HR metrics.
- Ensure data integrity by conducting regular audits and coordinating with various teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Manage security and user access within the system, ensuring appropriate levels of data confidentiality and compliance.
- Lead Workday-related projects, including new module implementations, process improvements, and cross-functional initiatives.
- Stay current on Workday updates and industry best practices to continuously optimize system usage.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in HRIS management, with at least 3 years specifically working with Workday.
- Strong expertise in Workday configuration, reporting, and administration, with knowledge of various modules (HCM, Payroll, Benefits, etc.).
- Proven project management experience, including leading system implementations and upgrades.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on data integrity, process improvement, and efficiency.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders, including HR, IT, and leadership teams.
- Proficient in data analysis, report creation, and using Excel or other data visualization tools.
- Experience with Workday integrations and APIs is a plus.
- Strong understanding of HR processes, policies, and compliance requirements.
