Tiello has partnered with a highly successful Geotechnical Construction Contractor in Los Angeles, CA on their search for a Senior Project Manager focused on leading all Public Works and Commercial Construction operations here with our team in Southern California.
The Senior Project Manager will be the company representative and serve as the company's point of contact with the client and the construction team when required. You will be required to estimate and manage CIDH pile construction, earth retention, grouting, sheet piling, and specialty piling projects. Responsibilities include contract negotiations, budget development, estimating, construction management, scheduling, cost control, quality control, client relations, and most importantly business development.

Job Title: Senior Project Manager
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Procuring work; both hard bid and negotiated design/build
- Scheduling of projects in logical steps and budgeting time required to meet deadlines
- Acting as a liaison between company, customers, and vendors
- Mentoring and training junior engineers within the region
- Responsible for client invoicing, AR collections, and change orders
- Understanding of engineering science and technology, design techniques, tools, and principles involved in the production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models
- Business development in Los Angeles/Orange County area.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience managing complex geotechnical construction projects.
- Technical knowledge (QA/QC procedures, as-built surveying, data acquisition maintenance, understanding of project scheduling, and coordination with other trades)
- Extensive contacts in the geotechnical and construction community
- Communication and teamwork skills a must
- Assertive, competitive, and tenacious
- Critical thinking skills.
