Job Title: Team Director, Hydrology and Hydraulics Engineering - Water Resources
Job Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Lead a team of engineers and technicians in designing and executing a variety of hydrology and hydraulics engineering projects.
- Client Management: Manage relationships with clients for water resources, drainage, hydrology, and hydraulics design projects.
- Technical Expertise: Utilize software such as HEC programs, XP-SWMM, and MOUSE to address water resource issues.
- Project Management: Demonstrate sound technical knowledge, particularly in water resources engineering, and manage the development of construction documents, plans, and specifications.
- Communication: Exhibit strong communication and organizational skills.
- Standards Compliance: Maintain a working knowledge of U.S. design codes and standards.
- Business Development: Collaborate with the Water Resources Engineering team to identify and pursue water resources opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering with a focus on hydrology, hydraulics, or water resources.
- 14+ years of relevant experience on national projects.
- Proven ability to manage and grow a water resources team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High energy level and self-motivation, with the ability to work effectively within a strong team environment.
- Technical specialization and proactive approach in meeting client and project needs.
