Reporting to the Benefits Manager, the Benefits Administrator research, analyzes, evaluates trends to support an extensive corporate health and welfare program. In this role, the Administrator must be familiar with benefit programs including a focus on Wellness, The Benefits Administrator will liaison with vendors and internal HR, Corporate Communications, Facilities and EHS partners.
Responsibilities:
Wellness
Work with Benefits Manager on building and executing Wellness strategy across our U.S. subsidiaries.
Attend vendor meetings to ensure they are delivering on account management, member experience, and engagement.
Work with Wellness vendor and On-Site Wellness Coordinators on planning and executing virtual and on-site wellness events as outlined in annual strategy, Including Virtual Wellness Fair, On-Site Wellness Events, Men’s Health, Women’s Health, Wellness Wednesdays.
Assist in the planning and execution of Wellness Events and activities such as company annual Biometric Screenings/vaccine clinics and employee information sessions. Including, but not limited to vendor selection, space requirements, employee giveaways, activities and shipping printed communication materials to ensure and enhance the employee experience.
Attending wellness events and representing the Corporate Benefits Department ensuring we are always professional and courteous conveying our programs to employees.
Travel requirement of 25%
Manage distribution and stock of promotional Item giveaways.
Responsible for creating and editing employee communications on wellness initiatives.
Accurately and professionally disseminate wellness and benefit information to employees via intranet, e-mail, Airbo, newsletters and microsite.
Coordinate with our Corporate Communications department on branding and promotion where appropriate.
Build all wellness events in the planning system to ensure they are outlined appropriately for our HR teams and our vendors.
Other projects/responsibilities may be added at the manager’s discretion.
Administration
Administration of employee benefit programs, such as wellness programs, health insurance, prescription, dental, vision and flexible spending accounts.
Regular contact with employees, Benefits team members, Human Resources, and vendors.
Responsible for the accurate and timely response to employee questions regarding Benefits and Payroll for all U.S. Subsidiaries.
Promptly answer incoming calls and emails of all employees.
Utilize Benefit and Payroll Knowledgebase to answer questions.
Utilize Case Management system to record activity.
Compile data and report metrics on customer service function.
Work with other Customer Service Representatives to ensure timeliness, accuracy and consistency of response.
Work with all Subsidiaries to ensure the employees are receiving the appropriate service level.
Escalate Tier 2 issues to Benefit Administrator(s) and Payroll Administrators via Case Management or immediately, if necessary.
Required Skills/Education
Bachelor’s degree in related area or equivalent experience in related area
3+ years of experience in a benefits role.
Strong customer service skills.
Presentation Skills
Travel required 25%
Ability to work in team environment
Knowledge of employee benefits (group health, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, flexible spending accounts, COBRA, ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, etc.)
Travel frequency is up to 30% – bulk of the travel is from August to early November to attend company led wellness events across the US
