Our client is a distinguished law firm specializing in employment law, offering comprehensive legal services to employers across various industries. The firm is committed to providing strategic and effective solutions to complex employment law issues, ensuring our clients achieve their business objectives while maintaining compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise and represent employers in various employment law matters, including but not limited to discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, and compliance with federal and state employment laws.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to provide clients with strategic advice on employment practices and policies.
- Prepare and review legal documents, including employment agreements, handbooks, policies, and other employment-related documentation.
- Handle all aspects of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motions, hearings, and trials.
- Represent clients in administrative proceedings before the EEOC, DFEH, and other regulatory bodies.
- Provide training and counsel to clients on best practices for preventing workplace disputes and ensuring legal compliance.
- Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to deliver comprehensive legal services to clients.
- Stay current with developments in employment law to provide informed advice and representation.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the California State Bar.
- 2 to 10+ years of experience in employment law, preferably representing employers.
