About the Role:
As an Enterprise Architect, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our e-commerce organization. You will design and oversee the overarching technology strategy, ensuring that our systems, applications, and processes align with our business goals and support our long-term growth.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute a technology strategy that drives business success.
- Architectural Guidance: Provide expert architectural guidance to product teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Enterprise Architecture Definition: Define and document the enterprise architecture, ensuring it is comprehensive, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.
- Technology Evaluation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends, evaluating their potential to enhance our capabilities.
- Governance and Standards: Establish and maintain IT governance processes and standards to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Technology Roadmap: Develop and maintain a technology roadmap that aligns with business objectives and supports our growth.
- Architectural Excellence: Define and enforce technology standards, patterns, and best practices to ensure high-quality solutions.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks and vulnerabilities in the architecture.
- Integration Planning: Design and implement effective integration strategies to ensure seamless interoperability between systems.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization to ensure that architectural decisions meet their needs.
Qualifications:
- Deep Technical Expertise: Proven understanding of enterprise-level technology, e-commerce trends, and emerging technologies.
- Architectural Design: Expertise in designing complex, scalable, and secure enterprise-level solutions.
- Cloud Proficiency: Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms and services.
- Enterprise Architecture Frameworks: Proficiency in enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Risk Management: Ability to identify and mitigate architectural risks.
- Documentation: Expertise in creating and maintaining comprehensive architectural documentation.
- Business Alignment: Proven ability to align IT architecture with business objectives and processes.
Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in IT architecture or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- MBA or M.S. in enterprise architecture preferred.
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies (TOGAF, Zachman, Open Group Architecture Framework).
