The job applicant will be expected to set up in-house Bioburden Testing, writing protocols for repeatable execution and conducting regular tests for incoming products. The applicant will also be expected to independently run Endotoxin Testing, sterilization cycles, Blood studies that include PTT Time and Complement Activation Testing using the existing protocols (the lab for these tests has already been set up for these tests).
Responsibilities
- Perform microbiological testing, bioburden and bacterial endotoxin testing.
- Coordinates microbiological testing, release of product and testing for validation protocols
- Participate in aseptic processing in a clean room environment

Qualifications
- Aseptic technique or cleanroom experience desired.
- Organism identification experience a plus.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Work schedule flexibility, including weekend availability.
- May handle hazardous and biological waste.
- Required to wear personal protective equipment
- Bachelor’s Degree – BS/BA in Biology or Microbiology desired; BS/BA in alternate field with equivalent experience and training.
