LHH Recruitment is seeking a Power BI Developer to join our team on a direct-hire basis. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Power BI, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, ETL development.
**Remote position, must be on EST or CST**
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations in Power BI that meet business requirements
- Utilize Azure Data Factory to design and implement efficient ETL processes for extracting, transforming, and loading data from various sources into Azure SQL databases
- Manage and optimize Azure SQL databases, ensuring high performance, availability, and security for business-critical data
- Develop and maintain data models, including relationships, calculated columns, and measures, to support reporting and analysis needs in Power BI
- Understanding of Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) and Online Transaction Processing (OLTP) systems to optimize database operations
Qualifications:
- Experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role
- Power BI, including DAX and Power Query
- Strong experience with Azure SQL, including database design, optimization, and management.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory and building ETL pipelines.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
- Certifications in Azure, Power BI, or related technologies preferred
