Our client is passionate about creating authentic Hispanic foods under their beloved brands that connect people and cultures. We are in search of a dynamic QA Manager to oversee their Vernon 2 manufacturing facilities and make sure every bite of their products meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
This person will lead and mentor the FSQ team to ensure smooth operations and top-notch performance. Implement and maintain food safety programs that comply with company standards, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements. Interface with SQF auditors, FDA, USDA, and other regulatory bodies to keep the certifications gleaming.
- 5+ years in a food manufacturing quality leadership role, must have extensive technical leadership experience.
- Ability to think critically, take incitive and lead by example required.
- Knowledge of GMP, SOP, HACCP, FSMA, and related standards.
- Experience with regulatory agencies (FSIS, USDA, FDA, SQF).
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, or related field.
- Bilingual - Spanish, an added plus!
