Job Title: Lead Flight Control Systems Engineer

About the role:
They are looking to hire a Lead FCS Engineer to lead the design, development, test and certification of reversible primary flight controls as well as electro-mechanically actuated secondary flight controls, ensuring seamless integration into the overall aircraft.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead flight control system development through conceptual design, preliminary design, detailed design, integration, and qualification phases
- Define flight control system requirements in line with mission objectives and regulatory requirements
- Lead supplier selection and oversee supplier integration activities
- Generate, review, and approve system safety analysis, engineering drawings, schematics, specifications, test plans & reports, and compliance documentation.
- Define requirements for system integrated test lab / rig.
- Define and show compliance in line with Part 23 and Part 25, working closely with regulatory bodies
- Oversee component, system, and aircraft level functional testing, including ground and flight test
- Work with maintenance and operation experts on meeting reliability and maintainability targets
- Technical oversight and mentorship of junior engineers
- Maintain and report on activity schedule, budget, and technical status
