We are seeking a Project Manager for our client in the infrastructure and utilities space. The Project Manager will oversee complex projects involving facility planning, regulatory compliance, right-of-way, environmental, engineering, design, construction, and operations, ensuring alignment with business, technical, financial, and scheduling objectives. This role involves managing the project lifecycle from planning through execution, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and optimizing resource allocation.
Candidates for this role must have a solid background in project management with strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Must be local to Omaha and be comfortable working in an onsite work model.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the successful delivery of assigned projects by managing business, technical, environmental, operational, financial, and scheduling objectives.
- Oversee project workflow, coordinating across functions including facility planning, regulatory compliance, right-of-way management, environmental, engineering, and construction.
- Manage project meetings, budget planning, and scheduling, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Optimize resources by considering team expertise and workload in areas such as right-of-way, environmental services, regulatory, technical services, and construction.
- Identify and implement best practices in project management to improve efficiencies and project outcomes.
- Facilitate project budget development and the project review process, ensuring that financial goals are met.
- Maintain regular communication with all stakeholders, including the project team, sponsors, control units, facility owners, and operators to ensure alignment and issue resolution.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in infrastructure, construction, or utilities.
- Strong analytical and evaluation skills to identify critical tasks, establish timelines, and manage project plans.
- Excellent project management skills with experience in developing, monitoring, and managing work agreements, budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively lead teams, guide stakeholders, and communicate project objectives.
- Financial modeling skills to quantify costs and benefits, track project outcomes, and ensure budget compliance.
- Knowledge of project management techniques, company policies, and relevant federal, state, and local regulations.
