Are you ready to bring your Amazon and e-commerce experience to a rapidly growing fulfillment network? Our client is looking for seasoned Operations Managers with a background in Amazon operations to help drive significant business and personal growth. In this role, you will lead either a functional area (Inbound, Outbound, Inventory, etc.) or manage an entire operational shift within one of our fulfillment centers.
Your key responsibility will be to inspire, mentor, and coach your team, ensuring they continuously improve and grow both professionally and personally.
We value your hands-on experience in Amazon’s fast-paced, data-driven environment, where problem-solving, efficiency, and continuous improvement are essential.
What You'll Do:
- Leverage your Amazon or e-commerce D2C operational experience to create and maintain a safe, productive work environment for all Associates and Leaders.
- Lead and develop a team of 3-7 front-line Supervisors and 50-200+ hourly associates, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Mentor and coach your team for career progression, performance improvements, and personal growth.
- Develop, communicate, and maintain quality control policies while driving continuous improvement initiatives across shifts and fulfillment centers.
- Proactively identify and lead process improvement efforts focused on safety, quality, and productivity, leveraging your experience with Amazon’s operational excellence standards.
- Build and execute productivity plans by analyzing forecasts, determining labor needs, and partnering with other Operations Managers to optimize resources.
- Continuously review and act upon performance data to ensure operational goals are met or exceeded.
What You'll Need:
- Amazon experience is highly preferred, particularly in operations, warehousing, or fulfillment.
- Bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive supervisory experience, preferably within e-commerce, warehousing, distribution, or a 3PL environment.
- Hands on experience leading salaried, degreed direct reports
- Knowledge and hands-on experience across multiple functional areas (Outbound, Inbound, Inventory, Value-Added Services).
- Proven ability to manage, motivate, and develop leaders and team members.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated success in exceeding target goals and objectives, with clear examples of SLA achievements.
- Technical proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, Tableau, ERP/WMS/TMS, or similar tools is essential.
