Position Overview: My client is seeking an experienced Turnaround and Restructuring Consultant to join their high-performing team. This role involves working closely with clients to address financial distress, manage crises, and implement solutions for business recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients to understand their financial challenges and develop tailored turnaround strategies.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify issues and opportunities for improvement. Deep understanding of capital structures and capital solutions.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including creditors, investors, and management teams, to ensure alignment and support for restructuring initiatives.
- Crisis Management: Provide leadership during critical situations, guiding clients through bankruptcy proceedings, debt restructuring, and other crisis scenarios.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and report on the progress of restructuring efforts, making adjustments as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
- Bankruptcy Expertise: Understanding of Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 bankruptcies and their filings, procedures, and protocols.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field; MBA or relevant certification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in turnaround and restructuring consulting or investment banking.
- Skills: 3-statement modeling, 13 week cash flow, chapter 11 experience
