The Account Specialist is responsible for managing and nurturing client relationships to ensure satisfaction, retention, and growth. This role involves acting as the primary point of contact between the company and its clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality service. The Account Specialist will collaborate with internal teams to drive client success and achieve business objectives.
Client Relationship Management:
* Serve as the main contact for assigned clients, building strong, long-lasting relationships.
* Understand client goals, challenges, and industry trends to provide tailored solutions.
* Regularly communicate with clients to update them on progress, gather feedback, and address concerns.
* Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products or services to existing clients.
* Develop and implement strategies to expand the scope of services provided to clients.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless client experience.
* Communicate client needs and feedback to internal teams to drive continuous improvement.
Inventory Management:
* Work with Quality, R&D, and Purchasing with our RMR (Raw Material Requisition/Reactivation) process for new ingredients & Components for customers.
* Facilitate with operations to review the setup of components, labels, and ony other customer packaging requirements.
* Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock availability and turnover for Customer supplied materials.
* Implement inventory control processes to minimize stockouts, overstock situations, and obsolescence for Customer Supplied materials.
* 3-5 years of experience in account management, client services, or a related role.
* Strong understanding of the industry in which the company operates.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Proven ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
* Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
