Formulation Technician
Location: St. Louis, MO
Type: Contract, 6 to 8 months
Schedule: M-F working normal business hours, 8:00am to 5:00pm CT
Job Description
The Formulation Specialist is responsible for the manufacturing of products in compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow all procedures for handling reagents used in production.
- Collaborate with a team to efficiently meet scheduled production outputs.
- Record and maintain data in an organized manner, compliant with ISO13485 regulations.
- Maintain proper inventory levels in the ERP system and inform appropriate channels of items needing reordering.
- Safely handle and remove hazardous waste from the lab for proper disposal.
- Keep the production area clean and organized.
- Use micropipettes and other lab equipment to create reagent mixes.
- Operate liquid handling equipment to manufacture products.
- Identify potential issues that could affect product quality and notify supervisors.
- Interact with Quality personnel to ensure all SOPs and Work Instructions are being followed.
- Assist and train other production staff as necessary.
- Prioritize multiple tasks to meet daily schedules.
- Required Education and Experience:High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
